Surf has already hit us here in Durban - @ 2pm the surf was 2ft by 5pm it was solid 6ft plus ...
Looks like we should have the wind hit us late this afternoon - flat out Friday looks sik - 20 -30 kn and with the period now @ 18 and size 5.6 m - I think the waves are going to be large - the spot to be is going to be the River Mouth at the start of the down wind -
And more wind again on Sunday ! Should have some pics to post over the weekend - and it looks like no rain :)

Ja you will surprised how many guys are surfing in front of the shop, when the water is clean !
Have heard that Van Reenens Pass has been closed as the wind is gusting over 50 kn !
