I assume you have done lessons with an accredited school? At your weight either kite size should be ok, depending on the kiteboard size you will use as well.Taking some growth into account though, you might want to go for the 9. From 2008 the Waroos have speed control so you can slow the kite down during your learning stages and speed it up as you become more confident.
Your Best option at this stage though is to get in touch with your nearest kite school or shop and quiz them on the local conditions and what gear would suit you Best. If you haven't done a course yet, this is highly recommended before you purchase equipment. Most schools will include training equipment in their prices.
