hi all
I am in the market for a 9m kite for the heavier wind days. Need a kite for intermediate level in 25-30 knots. What recommendations from agents and kiters alike?

The Helix and Cult 9m kites are working really well, especially in heavy winds and conditions.  The GEOTECH and SIGMA shaping are proving that it is not just a fad.  The Canopy remains stable at all times and distortion is not occuring in the lighter winds either.  Many brands are now talking about canopy tensioning and all, but only NAISH has GEOTECH.

With no returns from warranties, super reliable relaunching and control, you should definately give one of these a go.  If you are used to 24/5m lines make sure you get a set of 4m extensions with the kite.

Like Rob has mentioned above, Naish really have produced awesome kites.
Funny thing thou, i sold both my Torches 8 & 10m for a F.One Bandit, and i'm LOVING IT!
Not that there's anything wrong with the Torches, or Naish.. a mate of mine has a quiver of 5 Naish kites (Shockwave, Helix, 3 x Torches 2008.)

It really depends on you, and how the kite works for your style etc...

Like i said, i'm riding a 9m F.One Bandit (75kg Rider) 15-30knts no problem.
The riding 25-30knts aint great, it's more survival than anything, but depower's huge, and kite handles like you won't believe.

Unhooking, and looping is BLISS... really really awesome, and in control.
Jump's are awesome, hang time's unreal.

So go demo a few kites.. and i'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.
I really don't think there is a "BEST" kite out there.
All boils down to personal preference!

I have always flown Naish, (x2, boxer, shockwaves x2) and never any problems. I  am looking at the Cult, but might try fly that bandit, have seen a few of them around, and seem well liked.

You're in Dublin right? My friend Piet just got a 7.5m Bandit there (red&black kite). Ask him about it. I fly mine from 16knots+ (90kg) but that kite's made for 20-35knots. Try it.

Hi!

If you have access to a Fone 9sq it is well worth giving it a go.  I`ve recently bought one and have have been more than happy with the overall performance.  I very rarely go on flat water anymore and only concentrate on waveriding with my directional.  I found that this was the best suited for me - after trying most of the other kites on the market and owning various other kites, about seven in total.  You`ll be surprised at the lift you`ll get when you need it.  Give it a go for a few sessions.    

Yep, the sigma series flies like a dream in heavy wind.

I think you mean two kites... to the best of my knowledge, Bandit is the model name of the Fone kite.
