Well the season certainly seems to be on - strong swerly winds 20 - 30 kn all day yesterday classis downwinds and finished off with a great session at Umdloti on the point with some great waves ... and more NE later this week.
Our 2 main compo dates :
The Sodwana Festival - 23 - 26 October 2008 (no to missed!!!)
The Jeep Event South Coast - Waveriding Event 1/2 November 2008
Also @ Kitebeach in Durban we will be running a few fun events. The first event will be an UPWIND race - starting and finishing at Kitebeach / and as we did last year a BIG AIR event. We have Quiksilver sponsoring a few prizes and we are talking to a few other potential sponsors - and we are hoping to have a CASH $$$$ sponsor as well. Keep your eye on this site and we will let you know - we would look to try and run this type of event over the weekend so all can participate !!! The aim is to get everyone to get involved - we last ran the upwind race at Sodwana a few years back and it was a lot of fun.
