Snowkiting New Zealand Trip Coming Up for South African Kiters

Hi All – Neels and myself are joining the Ozone boys in new Zealand for a snow kite camp 15- 24th august, there is space for 5 more guys to join - the price for the trip is NZD$2,100 per person – this include airport transfers, meals, accommodation and instruction!- Excluding our own drinks and rental equipment if we need to rent (your normal inflatable kite will work with either seat or waist harness) most of the time we will be staying in remote mountain huts kite ski-ing, snowboarding till we drop (a cold beer down the hatch)  the boys taking us is the world champ (Chasta) and Jon Imhoof ( helli/snow kite ski instructor) they will be looking after our group – I have checked different flights and Singapore airline have a special running, jhb – Auckland R 7619-00 return, We need to move as both the airline special and the kite camp dates will fill up  - LET ME KNOW BOYS AND GIRLS!!!!

Join the World Champion and undisputed guru of snowkiting, Guillame Chastagnol (Chasta) for 8 days of total immersion in the sport of snowkiting.  Learn from the best and progress your ability level far beyond your current limits and have a great time doing it.  We’ll spend 8 days chasing the best wind and snow conditons around the South Island of New Zealand.  Explore endless miles of world class scenery snowkiting with a small group led by local guides.

Boarder Patrol’s Snowkite Camps are freewheeling adventures chasing the wind around the Southern Alps.  We’ll pick you up at the airport on day 1 and deliver you back completely windblown on the last day.  In between we’ll either stay in remote mountain huts where the kiting is right outside the door, or in Queenstown or Wanaka where we have access to the region’s nightlife.  We have endless miles of flat and rolling terrain for beginners and freestyle sessions as well as steeper bowls and ridges to challenge those with more experience looking to push their limits.

The week will start with an opportunity to tune and transform the various kiting rigs for optimum use on the snow.  The first session will be getting to know the terrain and riding abilities of the group.  The camp is all about maximum progression for each person and having a blast.  Ozone will be supplying demo gear including a range of 2010 kites just released! You’ll have the opportunity to try different kites and rigs and find what works best for your style of riding.  Each day we will assess the conditions and pick terrain and missions appropriate to the various levels of riding within the group. The camp is open to beginners through to experienced kiters.
