Hey what's up? Just got my Havoc 16m and been trying to get used to it on land. (getting thrashed lol) I too am looking for others to help and hang with to learn the sport together. It can be kinda intimidating by yourself. Like everything else I usually do, I just jumped in. Look on ebay for deals for kites. I think the place I got mine was something like extreme kites on ebay. Also been to hatteras many times. Lessons are pricy there also equipment. My havoc, lines and bar were $550.00 anywhere else probably like 1200.00 to 1500.00. shop around. Island surf and sail is in new jersey. they have a cool website. (iss.com i believe) I live in Levittown.
