Folks I can’t explain how important is to have a decent fitted harness.

I had one that I believed never quite fitted properly and occasionally rode up due to me losing some weight.


I’m no off for two months.

Just to note...

As the above was a concern I did try a brand from 02A a couple of weeks ago and fell in love with it.

The harness didn’t ride up and with two sessions my riding, particularly wave riding improved. Believe due to the consistent location “waist” pull so improved balance and consistent depower and power.

At least now I have two months to save up for it!...

Come on John - get it out there Bro - The Mystic is a superb harness. We often have guys come in and complain about their harnesses, but once they try the Mystic waist harness they never look back. If you are battling with your waist harness then give the Mystic a try - you won't regret it and you will see why everyone is raving about the waist harness.  Especially if you are looking at moving from the seat or getting into wave riding!!

I have to second that. I just got a Mystic Warrior II harness, and it's the best harness I've ever hand, hands down. Premium quality, offers superb support, comfortable, very well made, what more can you ask for in a harness.

The Mystics are definitely a cut above the rest.

I have a mystic waist harness too. It is very comfortable and I agree with all of the above, but it does weight a ton. I think these must be the heaviest harnesses around!

The ultrasound scan that you show, I am no radiologist, but who's to say that it is not a normal costo-chondral junction? There is a normal joint between the cartilage and the bone of the rib at that site which looks like that.

There is no doubt that you need a decent harness, but not sure that that image convinces me.

Don’t think your meant to have a large lump protruding half way down a rib that flaws you every time you breath (as indicated by one of SA's top Ultra sound doctors and his little arrow)

I make any excuse not to kite for two months!!! Come poke it and see!!!
