To answer your 2nd question, i am 6'6' and weigh the same as you.(120kgs) I fly a north vegas 10m in most wind, best in 20 to 30 knots.
i have a 12 m for lighter winds. i use a 136 by 40 north free ride board. i seem to be riding fine, so go for it. you will be hooked on kiting for life.

nawt, richardsbay a terrible place to kite.....crocs in the water, no tar roads etc, and theres no cold beer.... all the reasons not to go to r-bay....(tourists)
